A Final Send Off DLC for Mass Effect 3
Bioware’s epic conclusion to the Mass Effect Trilogy launched almost a year ago, and in the next two weeks we will sadly get the last of the DLC for this outstanding game. There will be one multiplayer DLC offering “Reckoning” and one more single player DLC, The Citadel. The Citadel will be releasing on March 5th (March 6th for Europe) on PS3, 360, and PC for $14.99 (1200MP). The Reckoning will be out next week on February 26th (February 27th for Europe) and will free of charge. This has to be one of the best supported multiplayer games this generation. Every DLC has added new objectives, maps, classes, equipment, weapons, and enemies all free of charge. It looks like they are adding a female Turian, which up to this point I have never seen, which is awesome. The Citadel Single player DLC will consist of a story line that I have been wanting for quite some time, a set of good missions on the Citadel. Yes there has been some before, but not ones that take you into the heart of the Citadel and hit up locations like Silver Coast Casino, or the Armax Combat Arena. I hope there is something along the lines of Pazaak from Knights of the Old Republic in the Casino, I have been waiting for a good mini game for 3 games now Bioware. Below is the official background on the packs and a look at these last great screen shots will get for Mass Effect 3. It sad to see this coming to an end, but here is to you Mass effect 3; cheers!
““The team has poured heart and soul into Mass Effect 3: Reckoning and Mass Effect 3: Citadel. As the launch of these chapters near, the feeling around the studio is bittersweet,” said Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series. “We have always been humbled and driven by the passion of our fans for the Mass Effect trilogy. We hope fans will enjoy spending more time with some of their favorite characters — we have certainly enjoyed spending time creating them. We’re excited to release this final sendoff for the trilogy and move forward into the future of the Mass Effect universe.”
In Mass Effect 3: Citadel, players will explore and discover new locations across the vast, deep-space station while also having the opportunity to reconnect with some of their favorite characters from all three of the Mass Effect games. The multiplayer DLC pack, Mass Effect 3: Reckoning, offers players new firepower and character kits for the war against the Reapers”
