A look at Battlefield 4
Today at the Xbox One and the EA press events Battlefield 4 reigned in the single player and multiplayer glory. The game looks incredible versus the 360 version of Battlefield 3 I have been currently playing, it is night and day. Battlefield 4 will run at 60 FPS on the next gen and will include 64 player multiplayer, first time for a console version of Battlefield. Instead of sitting here talking about it I am going to let the video’s take precedent.
Single Player – This is a demo for the chapter Angry Sea. This was shown running on Xbox One spec hardware and it looks really impressive. If you can listen to the trailer with headphones to really capture the beauty of DICE’s sound design. Enjoy “Angry Sea”.
Multiplayer – This was the 64 person demo that EA showed off at their press event. It is on the map “Siege of Shanghai”. There is now a 5th person in the squads as well as the inclusion of Commander mode, where you can take control of outside elements with a tablet. The visuals are outstanding and has me very excited to grab a next gen console to play my one of my favorite multiplayer shooters as a small team in now what is a much larger conflict in the console space.
