Arkham Origins Unleashes a Flurry of New Screens

WB and WB Montreal have unveiled a bevy of new screens and a CG trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins. This will be the first Arkham title without Rocksteady at the helm and that has a few people worried; me, not so much. As I stated in my announcement article, Rocksteady and WB have built the Batman gaming franchise to an unprecedented level, why let it fall now? Granted, we may just get more of the same with a news story, setting, and gameplay tweeks, but is that such a bad thing? Arkham City remains one of the highest rated games of this generation and of all time, as long as the changes are for the better, what is stopping this one from being great? Origins story will traverse Christmas Eve during the growing years of a young Batman as he is hunted by a group of mercenaries led by Black Mask. The trailer is pre-rendered like the first one shown for Arkham City, and shows our Caped Crusader battling Deathstroke while being fired upon by Deadshot, with a glimpse of Black Mask at the trail end. In the screen shots there is a shot of a much younger Joker who has now been given a voice actor in the form of Troy Baker, who voiced Robin and Two-Face in Arkham City, with most recently being Booker Dewitt in Bioshock Infinite. Roger Craig Smith has been given the duties of the Dark Knight. Roger Craig Smith has been the voice of Chris Redfield (Resident Evil) since 2009 and voiced Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Assassin’s Creed 2 series of titles. The game does have industry voice acting veterans but it is the first time they are put in these iconic roles, it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Like Brad and I are always discussing, the trailers for games or even pre-rendered scenes like this one and Halo 4’s Spartan Ops are primed for full length movies, or even a series, so what gives? Anyway, Batman: Arkham Origins will be released world wide on October 25th, 2013 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.

Hair removal in some areas is essential to replace the areas where
its growth has stopped. Eventually this can cause hair thinning or patches of bald spots.
Such devices as KTP, ERBIUM, Pulse DYE and Alexandrite have short length of laser light waves, and they
are very effective for removing unwanted hair on a light colored skin.
