Diablo 3 Team Deathmatch Scrapped

Diablo III PVP Update

Blizzard game director Jay Wilson has announced that the planned Team Deathmatch mode for Diablo III PVP has been scrapped, pretty interesting news for Diablo fans out there who have been waiting for what comes next to improve the much criticised end game. The dev team just don’t feel that what they’ve currently got meets either their own or the fans expectations, I know that this will come as a blow to a large number of fans but looking on the bright side this surely can only mean that rather than releasing something that isn’t going to cut it, the team are thinking ahead and want to get it right this time. So it’s back to the drawing board regarding Team Deathmatch, but in-game dueling is still currently scheduled to release in patch 1.0.7 which should be in the near future.

Read more about this decision in the Diablo III PVP Update. I look forward to hearing more about the duelling, hopefully there will be more news soon.

Disappointing all round, I’m a big fan of the Bliz Dev Team but I also got bored playing through the same content over and over again. Don’t get me wrong, the original content was awesome and I love Diablo, but the game in it’s current form just doesn’t have the pull for me to keep coming back, not in the same way as WoW and GW2. I haven’t played in some time, not even with the introduction of the paragon levels.

Yeah this was my concern as well. The inital content was cool but it got boring super quick. This is always my fear with online only game. It doesn’t give the community any oppurtunity to develop custom content and as such your game population fades. I think the thing to do was to polay through the game several times but it got so repetitive real quick. I played through normal difficultly and then part of nightmare and I just got bored. The online market was a bust, it had no organization to it adn it was incredibly hard to search through. There are just better games out there.

I love Blizzard as a Dev but they seem to really be dropping the ball with Diablo 3, The initial gameplay was awesome, but they didnt plan for endgame content and they seem to continue to fail in the way of endgame updates, its dissapointing cuz I really enjoyed the game but cant bring myself to play it anymore as all it is anymore is repetative
