Halo 4: Spartan Ops returns next week!

Halo 4 was an incredible and unique package. There was the typical campaign and multiplayer, but instead of firefight, we got a “season” of episodic missions built for four players. The first 5 episodes, consisting of 5 missions per episode, played out a branching story line that ran concurrent with story of the campaign. The first season pulled a mid-season hiatus last month and now we will finally get to see how the first season will end with episodes 6-10. Along with the start up of Spartan Ops we will get a new matchmaking update that will include three community built maps. There will be forums on Halo Waypoint to report any bugs or balancing issues. I am excited to see community maps, since that was a big part of Halo” Reach’s multiplayer. Lasky, Palmer, Majestic, and Crimson team return next week anyone else excited? I will have to put my Mass Effect 3 multiplayer rekindling on hold next week. Official trailer for episodes 6-10 below.

This is the item IGN tagged as ‘kinda boring’ but yet it’s the item I look forward to the most. I love the cutscenes. I just don’t understand how a movie hasn’t been made using these technology they are using for the cutscenes. They look good and I can’t see it being prohibitively expensive to make them.
