Has Counter Strike lost its MoJo?

Has Counter Strike lost its MoJo

Ohh da mods u’ll enjoy.  With the Chinese government using versions of Counter Strike as a tool for tactical training, there’s no doubt that playing can and should be a very tactical endeavor.  A Brazilian federal judge even said in his ruling to ban the sale of Counter Strike that it will “bring immanent stimulus to the subversion of the social order, attempting against the democratic and rightful state and against the public safety”.  I mean, what more could you ask for to encourage you to get into this game.  There were after all more than 9.2 million sales from the 3 main releases within the series, (1.5, Condition Zero and Source).  I personally have spent more hours playing one version of Counter Strike or another than I would like to admit, but was it worth it, hell yea!!  The game is straight up fun, and that’s what makes it so enjoyable, time after time.  Still in my mind the reigning champion.

Thank you for any other informative site. The place else could I am

I can absolutely agree with the above statement, and really my only beef with CS is the assholes to be encountered playing online. While it is a super fun game it has, on more than one occasion, been ruined for me by douche bags who think they are the shit and have nothing better to do than torment other players, whether it be slander, friendly fire, or just old fashioned cheating. As far as losing its mojo, its been a while since I played it but I do think its losing some of its appeal to newer titles such as Modern Warfare (2) and the online experience offered by those titles.

Have your say
