Lego Galactus will consume Lego Earth!
Keeping with the recent releases of Lego Batman 2 and Lego Lord of the Rings, Travelers Tales have announced today what we all hoped would be coming but never thought possible, Lego Marvel Super Heroes. The game will have over 100 characters including the avengers (that includes Spider-man and Wolverine for the comic impaired) as they battle Loki and Galactus, freaking Lego Galactus! According to the press release issued there are currently eight scenes from the X-Men, Iron Man, and Spider-man franchises and I hope that includes a Venom and Professor X mini fig, because that would just make my year. There is mention further down the press release of Guardians of the Galaxy; if Rocket Raccoon is playable I may squeal for joy like a little kid, not kidding. If the past two Lego games are any detection, there will be some new game play features tied to the title as well as voice acting, which since Batman 2 has been a welcome away from the grunting pantomiming. This is also an interesting set up since Warner Brothers Interactive will be publishing the TT developed game. WB owns DC Comics, Marvels biggest rival. I don’t care who paid who, or what Lego sets had to be sacrificed; on top of two new Pokemon games being announced on the same day as this, this is turning into one hell of a news day. Lego Marvel Super Heroes will be available this fall!
