Mass Effect 3 to be an Origin Exclusive

We now know that Mass Effect 3 will be an origin exclusive on the PC along with The Old Republicand will not be available on any of the other DD platforms such as Steam, Direct2Drive and Impulse.  This will most likely be one in several upcoming exclusives to the Origin platform.  Other title that are expected to be Origin exclusives are Battlefield 3, Crysis 3 and any future AAA title releases that will come from EA.

Mass Effect 3 will of course be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 for those of you who do not wish to play on the PC.  What do you PC  guys think about Mass Effect 3 being Origin exclusive?  Will this be bad for business?  Good or bad?

With the exception of my competitive multiplayer, I find that games are just more enjoyable on a big TV, with a controller, lying/sitting on the couch. I’ll be getting ME3 for the same console I had 1 and 2 for- Xbox 360. Yeah, the whole “Origin” thing sucks, but people who want the game badly enough are going to download it anyway. Really, what they’re doing is actually a pretty decent business strategy, it’s just also kind of a dick move.

next to get any Activision title you’ll have to join what ever site they come up with to get DD games and so each distributor will follow suit and we’ll be chasing all over the internet just to buy a stinkin game instead of having one centralizied site (hhhmmmm “Steam” maybe) that has all our games located in one spot….ugh
