Meeting the Faces of Elizabeth
Bioshock: Infinite is just less than a week away from release, and the hype train is about to pull into the station at full force. One of the most anticipated titles of the year, Bioshock: Infinite has you playing the role of Booker Dewitt, a former Pinkerton agent that is sent to the floating city of Colombia is search of a woman named Elizabeth. Elizabeth is a unique character, as like Elika from the 2008 Prince of Persia, she will be with you at all times. Though Elika was not the emotionally rich character I hoped she would be, I still found myself caring for her, trying to work with her and keep her safe. Sometimes games having tag along characters can bring down a game, making it feel tedious, or feeling like the game is one long escort mission; but I don’t feel that will be the case with Infinite. Below is a video by Irrational Games taking a look at the different women that help create and bring to life the most important Bioshock character since Andrew Ryan. Though the game has been delayed for over a year now, it looks like it was time well spent into creating a world and characters that we will genuinely care for. Enjoy!
