PlayStation 4 Will Hit This Fall for $399.99
Well Sony gave Microsoft a swift and one, two and is leading the charge into the next generation. We finally have a look at the hardware above and it looks like a marriage of launch PS2 and launch PS3 design, and I am digging it. Sony’s Jack Trenton made it very clear, and while calleing out Microsoft’s business plan, the PS4 will not require and online connection and used games will still be how they are now, free to trade, buy, and loan to friends with no restrictions. The final blow Sony handed Microsoft is under cutting the Xbox One by $100, the console will sell for $399.99. I am still wrapping my head around this. I just paid $349.99 for my Wii U (which I see as a niche console) $50 more I have a PS4 that will give me 60 FPS titles, let me play Battlefield 4 with 64 people, and does not require a internet “check in” every 24 hours. I am sold. I was kind of a Microsoft primary this generation, but that is swiftly changing as well with some of my co workers and friends after tonight’s announcement. Both consoles are available for pre-order and I would do so quickly, with the reaction from tonight’s press event their could be a shortage this fall. The PlayStation 4 will launch this fall for $399.99.
