PlayStation Store Update: Defiance and Injustice
There is plenty to like this week on the PlayStation store with full copies of Defiance leading the way. You can get the standard game for $59.99 0r have the Deluxe Edition that features the game plus extras and 30 days worth of XP boost; granted that the servers are running well. There are two PS2 classics this week as the PSP ports of GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Vice City Stories make their way on the store for $9.99 each. PSN users get the fantastic, though does have a learning curve, demo for Injustice: Gods Among Us. The demo is free and weighs about 500MB. I spent at least playing around with the demo yesterday and I am sold on NetherRealm’s DC Comic fighter. If you are looking for more free goodies, the first episode of TellTales’ The Walking Dead is free and the rest of the episodes are discounted to $3.99 apiece. If you are still on the fence about this game pick up the first free episode, I did when it was free on Xbox Live and it had me hooked. I grabbed the rest of the episodes during the New Years sale and never have I had a game make me feel guilty and twist my gut so much; there is a reason the game was nominated by several publications for Game of the Year awards. There are plenty of PS1 classics on sale as well with a bunch of Tomb Raider titles and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver being a personal favorite. There are plenty of PSP titles on sale as well from Ratchet & Clank; to Twisted Metal; to MotorStorm Arctic Edge. PlayStation Plus subscribers get a great game in the Instant Game Collection with Demon Souls. For more on all that I covered and info on what I didn’t head over to the Official PlayStation Blog for all the details.
