Respawn’s New Game Outed, Meet Titanfall
Game Spot and Kotaku have both reported that the cover of the next Game Informer has been outed and reveals the new title from Respawn Entertainment. Respawn is the result of the fall out between Activision and the Call of Duty creators Jason West and Vince Zampella. Titanfall will be a first person shooter that contains mechs called titans. Rumors Game Spot have collected states that the game will run on Valve’s Source engine and will be locked in at 60 frames per second. The game will be on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. According to Game Stop, the Xbox One and PC versions will be done by Respawn and the 360 version is being outsourced, making the Xbox One and the PC the lead platforms for the title. The game will be published by EA and leads a FPS rush against the competition with Battlefield 4 and Titatfall. Could this be the start of a new FPS dominance from EA on the Xbox One? We saw Call of Duty: Ghost’s somewhat underwhelming video at the Xbox One presentation, so could Battlefield 4 and Titanfall answer back and dethrone Call of Duty? We are expecting many details of Titanfall next week during E3, stay tuned.
