Scorpion makes his way into Injustice, Plus a Bonus
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a hugely enjoyable fighter. If you like fighting games it has appeal, if you like the DC Comic Universe it has appeal. The game was developed by the Mortal Kombat creators, NetherRealm Studios, so the possibility of a cameo appearance was more than likely and today we have conformation. Scorpion will be the next DLC character for Injustice. Now do get a tizzy thinking that we will look out of place in the title, because he has been redrawn by Jim Lee . The character design has a much more “armored” look to him that fits in well with the look of Injustice. He looks to have some of the same combos he did the (2011) Mortal Kombat, which is fantastic because he was one of my main characters in that game. Now if you watched the reveal video you will notice that Scorpion is doing battle with Superman, but no ordinary Superman. The Superman skin is out of the Blackest Night story line and will hopefully be available to download, along with Black Lantern Batman (for those of us that didn’t pre-order at Best Buy) very soon. One last snippet from the video is the very end, could Martian Manhunter (J’onn J’onzz) be the final DLC character? There was a hint that General Zod would be the last remaining DLC character but, just like in a Marvel movie, the after credits scene may have given something way. No word yet on when Scorpion will be available, but he will run you $4.99, or if you have the season pass, he is included.
