Sim City “Beta” Next Weekend!

Sim City enthusiasts rejoice! Always-on-connection haters fill with dismay! Sim City’s official twitter account today posted this tweet:

You're reading this caption when you SHOULD be reading the tweet...

What does this mean!? It means you get barely anything to try out, but it DOES give you a chance to play the game, regardless of how miserly they are with the time allowance! If you would like to sign up for the beta you can go here and do it by clicking this extraordinarily long link that just continues to grow and grow until it comes to an abrupt. Then you can play the smidgen of a slice of the game next weekend when they see how the game performs on various systems, how the servers fair under stress, and how their mysterious “cloud computing” handles.

Unless you don’t sign up for the beta in protest. Then you can just sit there all smitten with with spiteful delight.

I absolutely love your blog and find nearly all of your post’s to be exactly I’m looking
for. Would you offer guest writers to write content for you?
I wouldn’t mind producing a post or elaborating on a few of the subjects you
write in relation to here. Again, awesome web site!

After I initially left a comment I appear
to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time a comment
is added I get four emails with the exact same comment.
Perhaps there is a way you are able to remove me
    from that service? Many thanks!

You know I was really into the Sims games until they released the first expansion to The Sims and then after that I felt they were watered down and just money grabbing. I liked the Sims games when they were run by Maxis. After Maxis sold to EA I kinda lost interest. It’s funny how them buying things makes me lose interest. I still stand by that Sim Copter is one of the most brilliant games ever and the fact that you could import your Sim City 2000 cities into it and fly around with them is just awesome.
