Star Trek 2013 at Destination Star Trek London

Today saw the close of Des­ti­na­tion Star Trek Lon­don (DSTL), there was some­thing for every fan with all five cap­tains in atten­dance: William Shat­ner, Patrick Stew­art, Avery Brooks, Kate Mul­grew and Scott Bakula. The new Star Trek game which is due for release in early 2013, show­cased at both E3 and Gamescom, was also at DSTL where they again showed the 3D trailer — com­plete with some pretty cool Nvidia bat­tery pow­ered 3D glasses. Although it was the same trailer as seen at Gamescom, this time Namco Bandai Games who were pre­sent­ing it had added a devel­oper com­men­tary which was a bonus for the fans and helped to explain some of the game­play and dynam­ics which included the mod­i­fied phaser used by Kirk which is a cus­tom weapon for that character.
