The Morning Gaming Edition (Working title)
This is the start of my new morning article to get your gaming juices up and going whether you are on your way to work, still in bed, or about to go to bed from an all night session. Let’s put a smile on that face and talk Super Heroes in video games!
With the impending release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, do you think video games based off Super Heroes have done the source material justice? Yes, I know the Batman Arkham games are fantastic and return well for that character but look at poor Spider-Man. He has had some decent games recently with Edge of Time, Shattered Dimensions, and Web of Shadows; but for everyone of those we get a cruddy tie in movie game or even with those decent games we get a camera that out right sucks. Superman has had pitiful offerings across the board; Green lantern, Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America all suffered this generation from crappy tie in games that range from “meh” to crying as to how bad it is. Is it the fact the developers don’t get the time needed to create good games or they just don’t get the source material? Is there any Super Hero game that you feel has done the character justice or that has failed them?
