Titanfall;s Gamescom Gameplay is Stunning

Titanfall looks spectacular. It looks to change the FPS world the way Call of Duty has, for better or worse. The Xbox One has gone through a very shaky PR period and is now on track to deliver the goods this holiday season and beyond. One of the exclusive titles for the console that has had everyone’s attention is Titanfall. The Sci-Fi FPS from Respawn Entertainment looks to create a cinematic multiplayer experience unlike anything we have seen. This is the newest gameplay footage from Gamescom and it is just impressive. To see all the action the different player running about, the titans battling head to head just makes for a fast and visceral experience. The game runs on a modified Source engine from Valve, which achieves the needed 60 FPS on the Xbox One. This game is the reason I want an Xbox One. Sure there are other titles I want for the console and I will pick them up in due time, but Titanfall is the game I would sink $500 immediately if I can get my hands on it today. I am tiring of the the FPS genre and “modern” military FPS’s in particular, but Titanfall looks to re-energize my batteries. Check out the official gameplay trailer from this years Gamescom below.
