Watch evo 2013 Live this weekend

The biggest fighting game tournament in the world is taking place in Las Vegas this weekend. EVO 2013 started with a bang this morning with pool rounds for Mortal Kombat, Super Street Fighter IV, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. EVO brings players from around the world in 1 vs. 1 competition in several fighting games. Just released back in April, Injustice: Gods Among Us makes its EVO debut this year. Returning titles to the tournament include Super Street Fighter IV, Mortal Kombat (2011), Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters XIII, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Super Smash Bros. Melee was voted to be included via a donation drive which proceeds went to Breast Cancer Research, over $200,000 was donated. Twitch TV is streaming the tournament all weekend long. Streaming is free and available to watch here, but if you want to skip commercials you can subscribe to the channel for $12. The schedule is down below and if you want to watch from your Xbox 360, the Twitch TV app has the channels available as well. I will be watching all weekend long. I love watching this tournament, not so much for the competition, but to see the interesting character choices and combinations the players take. I love seeing people take characters that I am not particularity good with and destroy opponents. For all the information and the tournament and the brackets check out the official EVO site over at Shoryuken.
