xbl update and an end to Rock Band

There isn’t much this week and almost included the new Halo 4 Map Pack announcement in with this. But there is something that will be disappearing from the new released add-on’s on April, Rock Band tracks. Now everything that they have released will still be there, but as of April, Harmonix will no longer do weekly releases. At over 4,000 songs over the past 5 years, it had to end at some point. The music genre is all but dead, but Rock Band kept plucking away week after week with a steady stream of new music. I still play Rock Band from time to time, drumming on expert is a great exercise, but I can’t remember the last time I purchased a song for it. Back to the new releases, the first DLC of the Tyranny of King Washington is available for Assassins Creed III (800MP), there is new DLC for the wonderful Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed featuring Metal Sonic and a new track themed by Outrun (240 MP). There is a new demo for Naruto Storm 3, that weighs in at a hefty 2GB. I am still amazed at how well the Naruto games capture the look of the series, they are beautiful. Outside of that the new Deal of the Week features The Elder Scrolls, both Oblivion and Skyrim. As always head here for all the details and to check out anything I may have missed.

But the one thing that will hopefully not drag on, is how long the development process will continue to
take. Though these builds may perhaps get adjusted just before the game is released there are actually many that just is
going to work significantly better than others. “Day one for an MMO is not a launch date, it’s the first day of a service.
