Xbox Live Update: More Sales and More Injustice!
First and foremost, I woke up today and downloaded the new Injustice: Gods Among Us demo; and for an hour now I couldn’t put it down. You get a multi-tiered level, three fighters, and a boss battle with Doomsday. There is a couch vs. mode but no online play. The controls due take some time to get used to but after a few fights they become second nature. Starting tomorrow, Battle Block Theater will be available, this is the the newest game from Castle Crasher developer, The Behemoth. Battle Block Theater will run you 1200 MP. Speaking of Arcade games there is a 50% off sale on a hand full of them, here are the details:
|Quarrel||200 (50% off)|
|Mercury||200 (50% off)|
|Swarm||200 (50% off)|
|Pool Nation||400 (50% off)|
|Axel & Pixel||400 (50% off)|
|Retro City Rampage||600 (50% off)|
|Puzzle Arcade||400 (50% off)|
|Winterbottom||400 (50% off)|
Those sales will last until next Tuesday. There is a sale on Microsoft Studios titles, once I have the complete list I will update the post. I do know there are titles like Dust: An Elysian Tale and Deadlight that are on sale. It’s curious to see something more recent like Retro City Rampage on a 50% sale, wonder how sales are going to for the parody 8-bit title. Last, and most certainly least, there is a new multiplayer map pack for Tomb Raider. The only reason I mention this is how poorly they DLC for this game was planned. The multiplayer is there, it’s functional but nothing that will over shadow how wonderful the story was. This was a lost opportunity to give us some more tombs to raid, new outfits, or even some more story or post story showing Lara in her new role. But if you really want them you can have them for 320 MP.
